CR-B's Book of the Year

'Charlie Bumpers vs. The Teacher of the Year'

This school year Coon Rapids-Bayard School District will again be participating in an all-school reading adventure called CR-B’s Book of the Year (formerly One School, One Book.)  Every family with a PreK-4th grade student will have a copy of the book Charlie Bumpers vs. The Teacher of the Year by Bill Harley and will read it together at home from March 25 to April 12. ISASP Testing....Coming Soon!

ISASP (Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress) Testing will be replacing the traditional Iowa Assessments.  Students and parents can learn more about these tests by reviewing tutorials for the Test Nav software and view sample tests by using this link .  ISASP Testing will take place in April for students in grades 3-11.

FFA Banquet

The Coon Rapids-Bayard FFA banquet was held Thursday, March 7th at the high school commons and auditorium. There were 110 members, parents, and guests present at the 39th annual banquet. This gathering entailed dinner, awards, and 2019-2020 officer installations. Two middle school FFA members received their Discovery FFA Degrees.
