District Closing Information
In the event of inclement weather, such as heavy snow or extreme cold, or even an unplanned event that causes a school cancellation, a late start or an early dismissal, the Coon Rapids-Bayard Community School District will use the district's notification system to notify all households by phone and e-mail. To receive district's notification system, advance sign-up is required. Sign-up forms are available with secretary Stacy Muench.
The district will continue to report school closings due to weather on our website and social media outlets, plus local radio and television stations (listed below). The district notification system will be used as an overlay to those public announcements.
