CR-B Education Foundation
The needs of our students, faculty and programs are at an all time high. With shrinking budgets at all levels, local state and federal, it is difficult to support the unfunded mandates of public schools.
Founded in 1999, the Coon Rapids-Bayard Education Foundation provides supplemental funding to the school district. Funds raised are intended to enhance the quality of education for all students and secure a sound financial future for the Coon Rapids-Bayard district. Coon Rapids-Bayard Endowment Fund
The Education Foundation created the Coon Rapids-Bayard Endowment Fund on November 1, 2014. The Endowment Fund is a long-term funding mechanism for CR-B academic programing. Contributions to the CR-B Endowment Fund go into the Endow Iowa Fund via the Community Foundation of Carroll County. The CR-B Endowment Fund will receive 5% of the interest earned on its funds annually from the Community Foundation of Carroll County. These distributions will be used for academic programing essentials. Currently, the Endowment Fund is expected to receive a $35,000 distribution each year to be given to the CR-B district for academic programing.
The Coon Rapids-Bayard Education Foundation provides supplemental funding to the district for the purchase of educational materials and projects through teacher grants. These grants are intended to enhance the quality of education for all students.
