NEW SCHOLARSHIP

Well since we have had sooo many snow days, Seniors you should be completing your local scholarship applications. Remember they are due on March 1st.
Juniors - remember that ACT testing dates for the spring and summer dates are: April 10th and the registration deadline is March 5th. Also for the summer June 12th (we may still be in school) and the registration deadline is May 7th.
The following are scholarships that are available in my office.
Dedham Sons of the American Legion Scholarship:
Arrival Date: March 2010 Brief Description: Any students who are interested in attending any post secondary education institution. Please see Mr. Orlano for application.
Application Deadline: April 1st 2010
DALE SCHROEDER MEMORIAL Scholarship:
Arrival Date: February 2010 Brief Description: Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree at one of the following universities: Iowa State University, University of Iowa, or University of Northern Iowa. Please apply online at www.act.org/daleschroeder
Carroll Co. Cattlemens and Mr. Mrs. Sprig Sporrer Scholarship:
Arrival Date: February 2010 Brief Description: Must be a Carroll Co. resident and a member of the Iowa Cattlemen's association. Applications are available in Mr. Orlano's office.,

Carroll Co. Agricultural Scholarship:
Arrival Date: February2010 Brief Description: Open to Carroll Co. residents who will be continuing their education in an Ag-related field. Applications are available in Mr. Orlano's office.

Bennie F. Hall Prairie Woodland Scholarship:
Arrival Date: February 2010
Brief Description: Only students who are a permanent resident of Guthrie County are eligible and who are interested in conservation and outdoor recreation related majors. Applications are available in Mr. Orlano's office. Application Deadline: April 16th 2010
Guthrie County Soil and water conservation scholarship:
Arrival Date: February 2010
Brief Description: Students who are interested in any field of agriculture or natural resources. Applications are available in Mr. Orlano's office. Application Deadline: March 3rd 2010.
Carroll County Soil and water conservation scholarship:
Arrival Date: February 2010

Audubon County Soil and water conservation scholarship:
Arrival Date: February 2010

Carroll County Farm Bureau Scholarship:
Arrival Date: February 2010
Brief Description: Must be a Farm Bureau Member. Applications are available in Mr. Orlano's office. Application Deadline: March 1st 2010.
Robert Blue Scholarship:
Arrival Date: February 2010
Brief Description: Any Iowa student who plans to attend an Iowa college or university is eligible for this award. Applicants are expected to demonstrate literary and scholastic ability,, exhibit qualities of truth, courage, and fellowship and display moral force of character. Applications are available at www.rdblue.org. Application Deadline: May 10th 2010.
P.E.O. Scholarship:
Arrival Date: February 2010 Brief Description: Must be a Carroll County resident and a women. Applications are available in Mr. Orlano's office.,
