“Book Blast Off Reading Challenge II”

The 2nd flight of the K – 6 Reading Challenge will again be held in connection with the CR-B Annual Scholastic Book Fair. The challenge guidelines are the same. Each student will need to read 3 books. When the book is checked out from the Robert Deal Elementary Library, the student will be given a slip. The completed slip and the book will be needed to collect the prize. The first prize will be a bookmark. The second prize will be a choice out of the “rocket box.” After the third book is read the student will earn a “Book Fair Buck.” The student will be able to redeem their “Book Fair Buck” at the CR-B Annual Scholastic Book Fair in February. The “Book Fair Buck” is worth $1.00 off the price of a book purchased at the book fair. If you can not make it to the book fair, the “Book Fair Buck” may be redeemed during the school day. A big thank you goes out to PTO for funding this reading challenge.
The progress of each child will be monitored by a sticker chart in the library.
