CR-B High School Announcements

All High School Track athletes to report to the gym @ 3:30p.m.today.  5-12-08 

School year 2008-2009 Student Council elections will be held on Thursday, May 15.  If you are interested in running for student council, pick up an intent form and return it to Mrs. Paula Davis by Wednesday, May 14

Anyone interested in running for Student Council Vice-President, please fill out an intent form and return it to Mrs. Paula Davis by Tuesday, May 14.  Note the earlier date!

The Carroll County Fair is now accepting applications for the Carroll County Fair Queen.  Please see Mr.Orlano for details and applications.

CR-B Intermediate Announcements

GOOD MORNING!

 

Students that returned their TV Turn Off pledge form will have additional time at lunch recess today.  Teachers have a list of those students.

 

All acts for the talent show need to be prepared to do a run through on Thursday, May 15th @ 8:10, in the auditorium.  A student council member will come get you when it is your turn.

 

Lunch menu for today: chicken nuggets or strips, curly fries, peaches, & bread

 

Softball and baseball practice for 4th - 6th grade will be held today starting at 3:30. 

 

Recipes for the PTO cookbook need to be turned in by Thursday, May 15th.

 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to those celebrating in July,  Mrs. Bluml, Ms. Lemke, Brianna Sperry, Helena Castle, Sam Honold, Trevor Goodwin, Gavin Cretsinger, and Jimmy Fetters.

WELLNESS TIP:  Eating whole grain cereals has already shown promise for lowering blood pressureand warding off heart attacks, but it may also significantly reduce the risk of heart failure.  Researchers have found that men who ate a bowl a day of whole grain cereal had a 28 percent lower risk of developing heart failure over a 20-year study.
