Mock Trial Is A Success!

The High School Mock Trial team got to put their judicial skills and knowledge to the test when they competed in an all day event on Friday, March 14 in Carroll. The ten teams that participated in the Mock Trial were: three from Carroll, two from Kuemper, two from Battle Creek Ida Grove, one each from Des Moines Roosevelt, Indianola, and Coon Rapids-Bayard. During Mock Trial the teams faced off to argue their cases in front of Judges who not only listened to how well teams presented their arguments/cases, but also in how well they as individuals presented themselves in their appointed roles.
Congratulations to the team for a terrific performance! Mrs. Schwenk stated that after one of CR-B's performances a veteran judge commented that that was the best round he had ever judged in his 17 years!
Individuals Julia Hagan and Danielle Klocke were given “ Outstanding Attorney” nominations. Michael Schwenk was given an “ Outstanding Witness” nominations and Dora Grote received a double nomination for both “ Outstanding Attorney and Witness.”
Mrs. Schwenk wanted to say, "Thanks to all team members for your hard work and dedication."
