Standard 2:  Understanding physical science concepts.

                    Benchmarks:  2.1  Understands nuclear forces.

                                           2.2  Understands radioactive decay and its uses.

2.3  Compares and contrasts electrical and gravitational forces.

2.4  Understands the components of electromagnetic force.

2.5  Understands universal laws.

2.6  Compares linear and rotational motion.

Standard 4:  Understanding earth and space science concepts.

                     Benchmarks:  4.1  Understands the Laws of  Motion.

4.2  Compare motion on earth to that in space.

Standard 5:  Understand and apply technology.

                    Benchmarks:  5.1  Identify a problem and design a solution.

                                           5.2  Propose designs and choose between alternative solutions                                           

                                           5.3  Implement a proposed solution.

                                           5.4  Evaluate the solution and its consequences.

                                           5.5  Communinate the problem, process, and solution.
