1.5 Students will understand the Laws of Motion.

1.6 Students will understand gravitational forces.

Standard 3:   Understanding life science concepts.

                     Benchmarks:  1.1  Understand how all energy for life comes from the sun.

                                            1.2:  Understand why matter tends toward disorganized states.

                                             1.3  Understand how atoms on earth cycle among the living.

Standard 4.   Understand earth science concepts.

                     Benchmarks:  1.1  Understand the energy sources of the earth.

1.2 Understand that global climates by energy transfer.

Standard 5:  Understand and apply technology.

                    Benchmarks:  1.1  Student will identify a problem or design an opportunity.

1.2 Student will implement a proposed solution.

1.3 Student will evaluate a solution and its consequences.

1.4 Student will understand that advances occur with technology.
