Meet Mrs. Gunderson

        I live in Coon Rapids, Iowa.  My husband, Lynn, is the pastor of First United Methodist Church in Coon Rapids.  We have a West Highland Terrier, Bessie, who thinks she owns the house.  I graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa with a double major in Library Science and Elementary Education with a Reading endorsement in 1982.  I have taught Elementary Library K-6, Fourth Grade, Sixth Grade, Title I Math, and team taught with Kindergarten, First, Second and Third Grade classrooms.  Currently I teach the Library classes for grades K - 6.

        When I’m not teaching I am weaving baskets for my small business “Heirloom Basketry.”  I also enjoy flower gardening, golfing, attending sport events, visiting family and of course reading!
